Joyce graduated at law in 1989 and qualified as a barrister in 1990 at the Lincoln's Inns of Court with a view at that time to practice law in Malaysia, where Joyce originally came from. By the time Joyce qualified as a barrister, her circumstances changed and she decided to remain in UK and thus re-qualified as a solicitor in 1991 and has been practicing as one since. Joyce was trained and worked in the West End for a while before setting up her own practice in London Chinatown and then in Surrey before joining Owen White and Catlin. Joyce specialises in all types of residential and commercial conveyancing and company related matters, commercial landlord and tenant disputes, also premises licence applications and some aspect of immigration law. Joyce is a legal adviser of the Chinese Chambers of Commerce based in London Chinatown, attending meetings on a monthly basis and from time to time advising on various legal issues to the trustees and members alike, being also involved in various activities organised by the Chambers.
Joyce became a Senior Associate in October 2015.
Joyce is fluent in Cantonese and Bahasa Malaysia languages.
When Joyce isn't working, she likes to spend her days at sports centres all over the UK to watch her son compete in badminton tournaments, or travelling all over the world.
