Benjamin Carter is a solicitor in the family law department of the firm and is based in the Chiswick office. Benjamin qualified in 1989 and has undertaken family law work for the last 18 years. His particular area of interest is the question of how the assets and income of a marriage should be divided when a couple divorce. He has been accredited by Resolution as a specialist in the area of financial provision on divorce. In addition, Benjamin has an interest in Child Support Agency work and is a member of Resolution’s child support committee. Benjamin also gives seminars to other solicitors and writes articles on the subject of child support. Benjamin’s ethos is to take a constructive and non confrontational approach to his work but accepts that there are occasions when a more forthright approach is required. He lives in south west London and is married with a young child.
