Jon graduated from the University of Surrey in 2010 with an LLB in Law. After spending a year gaining some practical legal experience with the Serious Fraud Office he returned to his studies and began the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law in Guildford in October 2011.
On finishing the course he began at Owen, White & Catlin LLP in September 2012.
John qualified as a solicitor in January 2015 and is currently based at our Addlestone office in the Private Client Department. Jon became an Associate of the firm in April 2017.
Jon specialises in the preparation of Wills and dealing with the administration of Estates and Trusts. Jon also advises on the preparation and registration of Lasting Powers of Attorney and applications to the Court of Protection for Deputy orders.
Jon also regularly takes part in charity initiatives, such as the Woking & Sam Beare Hospices "Make a Will Fortnight". Jon has also presented at Princess Alice Hospice about the importance of making wills.
Jon recently took part in Runnymede Borough Council's "Living Well Week", which gave residents the opportunity to obtain legal advice regarding Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney.
Outside of work Jon is a Level 3 Football Association Referee, which allows him to officiate semi-proffesional football matches across the south of England.
Jon also enjoys watching football and other sports, such as boxing and cricket.
