Shashi joined Owen White & Catlin in July 2023 and is based at our Feltham office. He qualified in 2006 and has many years’ experience as a senior family solicitor.
Shashi undertakes work in all aspects of family law with a particular focus on child care matters. He is a member of the Law Society’s Children Panel and represents children, parents and other family members in public law applications by the Local Authority for Care, Supervision and Special Guardianship Orders. Shashi also specialises in private law cases on such applications as Child Arrangements (live with and spend time), Prohibited Steps, Specific Issue, Non-Molestation and Occupation Orders, and has considerable experience representing clients in matrimonial matters including financial remedy cases.
Shashi is known for his patient, calm and down to earth approach. He has a strong reputation for robustly representing his clients’ interests at court, covering all types of proceedings, including final hearings.
Shashi works tirelessly for his clients and prides himself on finding practical solutions to complex matters. He is also guided by a desire to help vulnerable clients.
Shashi is a member of the Law Society Children's Panel and also Resolution.
Outside of work, Shashi is a keen sports fan following most sports with a particular love for Chelsea Football Club. He also enjoys cooking, walking, gardening and is a proud cat parent.
